Job summary

PwC Mexico's Acceleration Center is seeking a CMAAS Associate to support technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics across deals. You'll contribute to client engagements, learn from global teams, and develop skills in a fast-moving environment.

In this role you will perform analyses, prepare memoranda, gather financial data, build accounting models, and coordinate with internal teams and clients. Up to 20% travel and CPA eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least 1 year of experience
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

Responsibilities

• Supporting technical accounting and financial reporting analyses for deals, restructurings, and capital markets transactions
• Assisting with preparation of transaction-related accounting memoranda, reporting materials, and supporting schedules
• Gathering and organizing financial data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and accounting implications
• Applying accounting policies, GAAP guidance, and regulatory requirements to client fact patterns and proposed transaction structures
• Contributing to merger accounting, carve-out financial statements, IPO preparation, and other transformation-related projects
• Building accounting models and performing calculations that support financial reporting conclusions and transaction readiness
• Coordinating project tasks across internal teams and client stakeholders to keep deliverables moving forward
• Learning and applying firm technical standards while developing knowledge of capital markets accounting advisory services
