The Cloud Resiliency Engineer will support customers by focusing on improving the reliability, continuity, and recoverability of their cloud environments. The architect will leverage deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resiliency, including designing and evaluating Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs).

This role involves assessing cloud infrastructure and resiliency processes end-to-end, identifying risks, aligning with best practices, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance customer resilience. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish are required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in:
• High availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) design in Microsoft Azure
• Azure architecture, including infrastructure, Availability Zones, backup/recovery, and monitoring services
• Cloud-native resiliency patterns and site reliability engineering (SRE) methods
• Designing effective Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs) aligned with SLAs and risk tolerances
• Business continuity planning, incident response, and process maturity assessments
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and executive audiences
• Experience in technical consulting or assessment-based delivery engagements

Certifications (must obtain within 2-3 months if missing)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
