Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Cloud Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our team. The candidate should be located in or willing to relocate to Querétaro, Guadalajara, Monterrey, or CDMX, with a requirement to attend the office at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities include cloud admin, automation, and support for customer cloud environments, plus collaboration with architects to resolve issues and ensure performance targets.

Formación

• 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and related environments.
• Medium to advanced English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of virtualization types and OS/database administration.
• Solid networking experience and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Unix systems and automation experience.
• Expertise in design/operation of medium to large scale enterprise/cloud infrastructure.
• Passion for cloud software, tooling and automation; comfortable with CLI and scripting.
• Understanding of networking, storage and server design principles.
• Experience with integration scripting technologies and APIs/tools.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver administration, maintenance, and support of the shared cloud environment.
• Develop automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvement.
• Support web interface used by customers to access their cloud environment.
• Evaluate, develop, implement, optimize, and configure customer cloud environments.
• Stay proficient on emerging technologies via self-study and on‑the‑job training.
• Escalate issues with escalation teams until incidents are resolved.
• Communicate progress, status, and root cause to customers.
• Assist customers with DNS, IP, and firewall issues related to Cloud environment.
• Work with architects to reproduce and resolve customer issues.

TCS Costa Rica is looking for a Cloud Engineer (Infrastructure)

(Candidate needs to be located or relocate to Querétaro, CDMX, Guadalajara or Monterrey, it will be requested to attend office at least 2 day per week)

Responsibilities

Deliver administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the shared cloud environment. Build, configure, tune and implement automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvement. Support of the web interface used by customers to access their cloud environment. Responsible for evaluation, development, implementation, optimization, performance and configuration of customer cloud environments. Expected to establish and maintain proficiency on emerging technologies through self-study and on-the-job training. Escalate issues and defects as necessary. Work directly with escalation teams (development, network, or engineering) until incidents are fully resolved. Provide routine communication with customers on progress, status, and root cause. Support customers with DNS, IP, and firewall issues regarding Cloud environment. Work directly with architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues Knowledge of industry standards and standards organizations (e.g. ITIL, TOGAF, PMP)
