As a Senior Cloud Consultant, you will help businesses transition to, optimize, and manage cloud computing solutions. Your role involves advising clients on cloud strategies, implementing solutions, and ensuring security and scalability. You will also mentor team members and provide best-in-class service to our customers.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
- Operations Monitoring (on-premise to cloud solutions).
- Work directly with stakeholders, partners, and hosting providers in a support capacity, including ERP XA, ERP LX, and ERPS21 product support, managing Level 2/3 activities like Application & OS User Management, Job Management requests, monitoring Wintel restarts, and working on Disk Space, RDP, and Server Availability issues.
- Network, Infra, and SMTP troubleshooting, performing regular system health checks, ensuring backups are successful, and handling restoration requests (BRMS).
- Managing ASP-related issues such as spikes across all AS400 Servers, coordinating with hosting partners, and handling disaster recovery activities (partial, full, enhanced).
- Documentation management (SOH drafts, templates, flowcharts), ticket management, and managing service activities (creating bulk tickets, change requests, standard change templates, adding new customers/infrastructure).
- Performing application environment data refreshes using save restores and tape restores.
- Handling BRMS, HALYCON, ROBOT, native job schedulers, AJS & HTTP Admin Console, OS/400 upgrades, migrations, and managing HA SAN and Flash Copy backups. Creating documentation for L1, L2, and L3 activities.
- Managing printer setups, SQL installations, enterprise connectors, DR/HA testing.
- Leading operational and implementation projects, including OS upgrades, Wintel upgrades, migrations, etc.
- Managing ERP product license keys.
- Performance tuning, journal management, and patch management for ERP applications like ERP LX, XA, S21, and their components.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with WebSphere application console.
- Experience with BRMS and HALYCON tools, including monitoring and administration.
- Experience with AS400, disaster recovery, and operations, including OSV7R1 to V7R4.
- Experience working with ERP XA, LX, and S21 products.
- Proficiency in English for phone support.
- Troubleshooting OS400 printers, writers, messages, startup, and application issues.
- Experience with job schedulers (IBM Native or Robot).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infor OS setup and integrations.
- Experience with backup and restore procedures.
- Coordination with multiple vendors via ticketing portals.
- Providing training and mentoring to early talents.
