Formación

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in FinOps, Cloud, IT, or management consulting.
• Proven experience with big data tools or languages like SQL, Python, Tableau.
• Preferred cloud certifications like AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect.

The Cloud Business Consultant (FinOps) enables cloud users to align their cloud technology adoption with their business strategies. Advises the world’s largest AWS, GCP, Azure, and other cloud users on topics ranging from cloud architecture to organizational governance and cloud economics, driving efficient cloud adoption and usage for clients. Consultation encompasses cloud architecture, big data analytics, finance, and business strategy. Analyzes complex, multi-cloud cost and performance datasets, organizational behavior, and strategies to derive insights, recommend cloud adoption and management strategies, and optimize cloud use across organizations.

The Cloud Business Consultant is a customer-facing role with cross-functional expertise and responsibilities. Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedures and other relevant policies and standards.

Work Location: Hybrid in CDMX and Edomex, and remote in Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Aguascalientes, Queretaro, and Puebla.

The role can be hybrid, working at least two days a week at our office in Miguel Hidalgo for candidates living in Ciudad de Mexico or Estado de Mexico within 25 miles (40 km) of the office. It can also be remote for residents of Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Aguascalientes, Queretaro, and Puebla.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver high-impact engagements with enterprise companies.
• Build relationships with client and internal stakeholders to ensure successful engagements.
• Provide recommendations on architectural optimization and organizational management.
• Serve as a multi-cloud subject-matter expert, assisting clients in planning and implementing efficient cloud adoption and integration.
• Help clients understand and utilize their cloud data across technical and non-technical units.
• Derive insights and make recommendations based on big data analysis.
• Assess client needs and offer effective solutions and strategies.

Skills

• Extensive customer-facing experience managing senior and executive stakeholders.
• Proven experience with big data tools or languages like SQL, Python, Tableau.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, capable of data wrangling and insight generation for executives.

Knowledge

• Expertise in cloud platforms and services including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Knowledge of Cloud Billing systems is advantageous.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or equivalent; additional relevant experience may substitute for formal education.

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in FinOps, Cloud, IT, or management consulting roles.

Certifications

• Preferred cloud certifications like AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect.
• Additional points for experience with Cloud Management Platforms (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability).
