Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from Sales to Launch.

  • Be the initial point of contact for client issues related to onboarding matters.

  • Coordinate client KYC, account openings, review of fund offering documentation and legal agreements, internal system set ups, and project planning;

  • Manage and coordinate internal functions to onboard new clients (launches and conversions), including Service Delivery, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Implementation teams.

  • Provide regular status updates to clients and internal parties as part of the onboarding process. Hold weekly project calls with stakeholders and maintain project plans to track progress.

  • Assist in the initial drafting and coordinate review of client service agreements;

  • Interact with the Legal Department on template management;

  • Manage the internal review process across different product and service lines within the fund administration, depository and other product lines;

  • Offer day-to-day onboarding advice across all Apex Group business lines to best meet their business needs, maintaining good working relationships through active communication, facilitation, and teamwork.

  • Support the broader onboarding team as required.

  • Report to the Regional Head of Client Onboarding.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Individual with a legal qualification to degree level;

  • 3-5 years of experience within the investment funds industry;

  • Knowledge of funds industry, experience of different fund structures, domiciles and regulatory requirements is an advantage.

  • Comfortable and competent in different fund structures, domiciles and regulatory requirements is an advantage.

  • Knowledge on Client KYC requirements is beneficial.

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work semi-supervised supporting a fast-paced dynamic business;

  • Possess team spirit and enthusiasm with the capacity to build strong client relationships;

  • Experience in client-facing roles.

  • Project management skills.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on client service.

  • Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written), additional languages are an advantage.

  • A legal qualification at degree level.
