Job summary

Redwood Logistics, based in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a Client Logistics Coordinator to support daily operational functions in a managed services context. The role emphasizes bilingual communication, customer service, and learning transportation planning for LTL, Truckload and Intermodal.

You will build loads, plan schedules, respond to customer requests, and collaborate with teammates while developing proficiency in our systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication skills both orally and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Pro-active problem solver and listener; ability to multi-task.
• 1-2 years of business experience in a bi-lingual environment.
• Logistics experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic understanding of creating and maintaining reporting, including using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point).
• Strong customer service background and ability to quickly build rapport with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while overseeing daily operational functions.
• Learn transportation industry basics and primary planning for LTL, Truckload and Intermodal.
• Perform load building, load planning, scheduling appointments, receiving, and responding to customer requests (email and phone).

Reports To: Client Logistics Manager

Location: Monterrey, N.L. Mexico

Environment: Hybrid (after 90 days of training – 3 days onsite; 2 remote)

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and hybrid Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Purpose of Your Work:

As Client Logistics Coordinator working within Managed Services (one of our entities),you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while overseeing daily operational functions for Redwood’s customers. You will begin by learning about the transportation industry and the primary planning and coordinating functions for Less than Truckload (LTL), Truckload and Intermodal.

Your responsibilities to our customers will include load building, load planning, scheduling appointments, receiving, and responding to customer requests (both email and phone), and helping your fellow teammates with similar duties. In addition to learning about the transportation industry, you’ll also begin learning about our systems and processes that support our customers and our internal profitability.

The ideal candidate likes to continuously learn new things, be challenged at work, and works well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
