Job summary

Sequoia in Mexico City is seeking a Client Analyst to partner with our Sequoia Team Members, as well as Finance and HR professionals at leading technology companies worldwide. You will provide actionable data and strategic insights to shape client benefit programs, balancing client goals with data-driven recommendations.

You will build analyses, reporting, and forecasting, delivering reliable models and insights to support decision making in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience working in benefits consulting or healthcare fields.
• Strong project management skills with high attention to detail and responsiveness in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to interface cross-departmentally and with clients and partners.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• Experience related to group health insurance and/or employee benefits programs is a plus.
• English Proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Put together financial analyses including underwriting, renewal review, employee contribution modeling, market analysis and benchmarking.
• Prepare and speak to reporting packages and insights on demographic data and trends, including post-implementation changes.
• Provide insight on network differentials and disruption.
• Assist with the preparation of financial modeling and forecasting using actuarial tools.
• Design reports such as: claims reporting, client benchmarking, benefit cost analysis, enrollment overviews, plan comparisons and merger and acquisition analysis.
• Deliver accurate and reliable claim reporting and financial modeling used to drive client decisions.
• Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes or create new ones.
• Develop client and carrier relationships.
• Review and maintain client data within Salesforce.
• Communicate and liaise effectively with client team members and clients regarding strategic project execution.
