Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Civil Projects Engineer for a hybrid role based in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico. You will oversee urban infrastructure and road projects from concept to completion, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and municipal authorities.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering background, at least 6 years in urban infrastructure project management, strong planning and CAD skills, and familiarity with local construction standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering project management focused on urban infrastructure and road construction.
• Proficiency in project management software and CAD applications.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations in the State of Mexico.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee execution of urban infrastructure and road projects in Tlalnepantla; coordinate with design teams, contractors, and authorities.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources for timely, cost-effective completion.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality, and address construction challenges.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and cost analyses.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and municipal representatives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
