A leading global energy company is seeking an Entry-Level Technician to test equipment and identify issues. The ideal candidate should have a technical degree and knowledge in electrical testing. This full-time role is located in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche. Competitive compensation based on experience is offered.

Formación

• Basic knowledge of computer systems is preferred.
• Experience disassembling motors, pumps, and seals.

Responsabilidades

• Test new and used equipment under supervision.
• Identify problems and communicate incidents.
• Prepare equipment for shipping and storage.

Conocimientos

Knowledge in assembly, repair, and testing of electro centrifugal pumping

Ability to conduct motor tests

Experience with fit tests on BEC assemblies

Experience performing electrical tests on power cables

Educación

Higher University Technician or Technical degree with certification

Job Duties

Under direct supervision, test new and used equipment, identify problems, and communicate incidents to the testing supervisor. Understand and test a range of equipment (motors, seals, or pumps) using appropriate processes and procedures. Identify equipment for testing, download, and transfer to the test bench. Perform initial maintenance checks with computer testing equipment. Maintain and clean equipment (new and used) through washing, acidification, and vapor processes. Test equipment according to established procedures and compare results between used and new equipment. Prepare equipment for shipping and storage. Basic knowledge of computer systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Higher University Technician or Technical degree with certification in related industry fields.
• Knowledge in assembly, repair, and testing of electro centrifugal pumping (BEC).
• Experience performing fit tests on BEC assemblies, intake assembly.
• Ability to conduct motor tests, modify motor heads, and change thermocouples in motors.
• Experience attaching sensors to motors and performing electrical tests on power cables.
• Experience disassembling motors, pumps, seals, DIFA separators, and submersible electro-sumergible equipment.
