Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical, or Business)

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Focus on electronic sensors technology/industry experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to build effective relationships across global technical and business teams
  • Knowledge of electronics supplier management
  • At least 2 years of experience with MS Office Suite
  • Passion for continuous improvement and global change

Responsibilities

  • Join our Digital Technology & Embedded Systems team to support Ford’s EV and Connected Vehicle expansion, focusing on supply chain management of electronic components
  • Ensure security of supply and cost efficiency for electronic and mechanical Bill of Materials (BoM) for next-generation sensors and vehicle chargers
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with global suppliers to align with technological roadmaps
  • Manage RFQ processes for sourcing next-generation FWD models and coordinate with suppliers on global strategies
  • Collaborate with Product Development to meet technical and quality standards for smart connected vehicles
  • Engage with sensor suppliers at senior levels and conduct regular business reviews
  • Address supplier issues related to supply, quality, and cost, and implement risk mitigation strategies
