We’re looking for a hands-on, visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our client into its next chapter. You’ll take ownership of a solid and growing codebase, scale a talented engineering team, and establish best-in-class practices for speed, reliability, and innovation—especially as we deepen our investments in AI. This is a rare opportunity to lead both strategy and execution at a moment of real momentum.
As CTO, you’ll:
- Lead and grow a distributed engineering team (currently 5 developers, mostly in LatAm)
- Own architecture and technical decision-making across our stack
- Drive a clear, forward-looking technical vision, especially around AI chat solutions and AI-assisted development workflows
- Improve dev velocity and reliability by strengthening QA, CI/CD, and operational processes
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to turn customer needs into beautifully executed software
- Report directly to the CEO and work alongside the CPO to shape strategy and roadmap
Our Stack
- Frontend: Vue.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Spring Boot (Java & Kotlin)
- Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres
- AI: OpenAI + evolving AI-assisted workflows (Cursor, Claude, and beyond)
Requirements
- 7 -15 years of software engineering working experience
- Previous experience as a Software Architect or Team lead in a start-up environment or corporate.
- Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams in a startup or growth-stage environment
- Strong architectural experience across full-stack platforms, especially cloud-native, containerized deployments
- Deep comfort with modern dev practices: CI/CD, test automation, incident response, observability, etc.
- Experience integrating or building advanced AI/ML systems (especially LLMs or conversational agents)
- Ability to build remote-first team culture: clear communication, ownership, mentorship, and velocity
- A product-oriented mindset—comfortable working cross-functionally to find scrappy, elegant solutions
