EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Chief Python Software Engineer to lead a small team building an AI-powered financial assistant platform. You will iterate with business users, test, refine and deploy chat, reporting, and bespoke interfaces into investment workflows.

You will own system design and production-grade implementations, drive architecture decisions, and adopt cutting-edge technologies while maintaining high standards of quality, security and reliability. English required.

Formación

• 7+ years of Python development experience.
• Experience with React (TypeScript) or equivalent frontend tech.
• Proficient with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• High autonomy and ability to handle loosely defined tasks.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with a small team to design and implement AI-powered features.
• Gather low-level requirements from high-level tasks and edge cases.
• Deliver production-grade systems with minimal supervision.
• Shape product direction and architecture decisions.
• Monitor AI behavior, perform failure analysis and regression testing.
• Ensure quality, reliability, security and maintainability across deliverables.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new languages and tools.
• Provide FE work across TS/JS, React/NextJS/Node as needed.
