EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Chief Software Engineer to lead an AI-powered financial assistant platform. You will drive end-to-end development, design scalable architectures, and deliver production-ready services with FastAPI and Python.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with business users, and ensure reliability, security, and performance across cloud deployments using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Formación

• 7+ years of software engineering with advanced Python development.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end delivery of an AI-powered assistant platform from concept to production.
• Design scalable service architectures and define reliability, security, and performance requirements.
• Build backend APIs and services in Python using FastAPI to support chat and reporting workflows.
• Integrate LLM capabilities and AI-assisted development methods to accelerate delivery.
• Translate goals into detailed requirements and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with business users to test, refine, and ship iterative improvements.
• Implement automated testing, observability, and incident-ready practices.
• Deploy and operate services in cloud with container orchestration.
• Review code and enforce engineering standards; mentor engineers.
• Drive culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence.
