We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Finance team at Marsh McLennan (MMC). This role will be based in Mexico City or Bogota. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As the MMC Latin America (LAC) CFO, you will be responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) across the Latin America region for our Marsh, Mercer and Guy Carpenter (GC) lines of business. A critical member of the International FP&A leadership team, you will set short- and long- term financial strategies and insights that contribute to critical business decision making and strategic plans.
Reporting to the International CFO, you will work directly with the LAC regional leaders, ensuring delivery of committed financial objectives for Marsh, Mercer and GC, providing trusted financial insights and strategic advice to drive business growth and profitability, and helping to optimize performance at the intersection of Marsh and Mercer through both growth and efficiencies.

We will count on you to:
Manage all aspects of finance, financial planning and analysis, strategy, and financial systems supporting the Marsh, Mercer and GC businesses in LAC.
Partner directly with the Marsh, Mercer and GC LAC Leaders to provide financial advice and strategies to drive business growth and profitability across the regions.
Hold responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial results for LAC so business decisions can be made accordingly.
Communicate proactively with LAC CEO, International CFO and LAC business leaders regarding significant changes/events that might materially affect the financial outcome of Marsh & McLennan.
Partner with FP&A leadership team to design and institutionalize key performance metrics throughout our lines of business and be able to identify trends, anticipate issues, and brainstorm solutions.
Establish and direct the FP&A people strategy for colleagues in the region, ensuring overall alignment with the global FP&A people strategy to drive colleague engagement, retention and internal mobility across Marsh McLennan.
Partner closely with FP&A COE hub leaders and colleagues to ensure alignment and delivery.
Develop strategy to maintain organization financial controls and enforce financial policies and procedures.
Approve financial actions, manages cash requirements, reviews and audits financial reports to ensure accuracy.
Act as the organization's Finance representative in LAC to interface with key stakeholders as anambassador of Marsh McLennan.
Ensure there is a dynamic process to identify and execute on M&A opportunities that are in support of our growth strategies.
Partner with the International CFO and regional leaders to capture and operationalize collaboration upside we expect from the front office changes and new ways of working.
Create a framework for growth initiatives and evaluates and implements business strategies to fuel top line growth and increase bottom line profitability.
What you need to have:
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
Significant experience in finance and accounting roles, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility and experience in a senior financial management role.
Proven leadership abilities to manage and develop finance teams.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, as well as advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and local regulations in various jurisdictions.
Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Strong problem-solving skills to address financial challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
