EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive the AI Gateway platform across MCP server and agent workflows. You will govern security, observability, and scalable LLM routing while guiding teams on architecture patterns and quality gates.

You will translate business needs into crisp problem statements and architecture designs, build prototypes, and define reusable frameworks for multi-tenant SAAS deployments in a modern Kubernetes environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with principal engineer ownership.
• Experience designing and shipping large-scale distributed systems or platform products.
• Strong programming skills in Golang and Python.
• Background in AI-centric development with emphasis on quality gates and architecture patterns.
• Understanding of AI gateways, LLM platforms, or middleware systems.
• Experience with microservices and multi-tenant SAAS architectures.
• PostgreSQL for transactional data and Redis for caching and distributed coordination.
• Authentication/authorization systems, particularly OAuth-based approaches.
• Ability to drive problem definition, architecture, prototype, and execution guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Architect MCP server features and agent orchestration for scalable LLM routing.
• Define authentication/authorization models and token-based access control.
• Collaborate with multiple product teams to provide architecture guidance and patterns.
• Review designs and code to improve quality, performance, scalability, and security.
• Define and review CI/CD practices using GitHub-based pipelines.
• Architect and review Kubernetes deployment models for production readiness.
