Continental seeks a chemistry-oriented testing specialist to ensure reliable lab methods and data integrity. You will support material evaluation, QA, and development initiatives by applying standardized testing and analytical techniques in a fast-paced industrial setting.

You will calibrate instruments, develop methods, analyze data, and collaborate with Quality, R&D, Product Engineering, and Production teams to drive quality improvements and safe laboratory practices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
• Minimum 2 years in analytical chemistry or materials testing in industry.
• Experience with thermal and spectroscopic techniques (TGA, DSC, FTIR/ATR, DMA).
• Proficient with instrument control software, LIMS, and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and time management; knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure operation, calibration, and qualification of analytical instruments.
• Develop and validate test methods aligned with standards.
• Interpret data in polymer/compound chemistry context.
• Apply SPC, Cp/Cpk, Gauge R&R to monitor instrument performance.
• Collaborate with QA, R&D, Product Eng, and Production on investigations.
• Lead and maintain the Laboratory Chemical Hygiene Plan and training.
