Continental in Mexico seeks an experienced Industrial Quality Engineer to evaluate conformity across product, process and systems. You will conduct audits, sampling and statistical analysis to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, while driving robust process controls and CSR management.

• 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong expertise in IATF 16949:2016 and CSR.
• Strong expertise in Core Quality Tools and SPC.
• Experience in internal audits and quality documentation (FMEA, Control Plans, work instructions).
• Advanced English proficiency (B2-C1).

Job Description

Evaluate the level of conformity in the product, process, and system through audits, sampling, statistical process analysis, and quality system management, and implement process control systems to ensure compliance with the requirements of internal/external customers, stakeholders, and the regulations governing us as an automotive industry. Manage CSR, customer complaints, and provide support in new EO customer projects assigned to their function.

Qualifications

• Professional career: Industrial Engineering or a related field and has 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry (desirablewith knowledge of tire manufacturing processes).
• Strong expertise in IATF 16949:2016, Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR), Core Quality Tools and SPC.
• Strong expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, A3, 5W2H).
• Advanced proficiency in English (B2-C1).
• Solid analytical skills, including statistical analysis in Excel (PoweBi as a plus).
• Experience in internal audits, quality documentation (FMEA, Control Plans, work instructions), and continuous improvement projects is expected.
