Position Overview

We're seeking a Chemical Engineer based in Guadalajara, Jalisco to work remotely with our advanced development team.

This role involves the research, design, and testing of new chemical formulations and materials that power or support Aisles technology.

You'll be part of a forward-thinking engineering team focused on real-world applications and innovation at scale.

Responsibilities

Formulate, test, and analyze new chemical materials for integration with Aisles' smart systems.

Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure compatibility and performance.

Develop safety procedures, compliance documentation, and quality control systems.

Source sustainable and efficient raw materials for prototyping and production.

Maintain clear lab records and technical data reports.

Conduct R&D on future-facing material innovations relevant to tech environments.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a chemical R&D or formulation role.

Hands-on experience with polymers, adhesives, coatings, or custom compounds.

Knowledge of chemical safety, environmental standards, and lab operations.

Fluent in Spanish; basic to intermediate English for collaboration and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in tech-driven or interdisciplinary product teams.

Familiarity with integrating chemical components into electronic or mechanical systems.

Strong data documentation and reporting skills.

Self-starter comfortable with remote collaboration.
