Güntner in Apodaca, Nuevo León, seeks a Certification Engineer to ensure products meet international standards and regulatory requirements. The role covers compliance for PED, ASME, CRN, UL, and ETL, plus ISO 9001-aligned quality systems and audits.

You will drive NPI certification processes, coordinate with suppliers, and manage budgets and monthly KPI reports, all while promoting compliance across the organization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing).
• 2+ years as Industrial or Quality Engineer in HVAC/heavy manufacturing.
• Advanced English required for international codes and supplier communications.

Responsabilidades

• Regulatory Compliance: act as SME for standards (PED, ASME, CRN, UL, ETL) to meet international requirements.
• Quality Management Systems: maintain ISO 9001 procedures, update workflows, and lead internal audits.
• New Product Introduction: coordinate certification for new products and accessories with suppliers.
• Financial Tracking & KPIs: drive cost-saving projects, negotiate certification costs, and report monthly KPIs.
• Internal Advocacy: champion compliance and share certification updates across Güntner.

We are looking for our next Certification Engineer to join our team in Apodaca, N.L.!

Your Main Challenges

• Regulatory Compliance: Act as the subject matter expert for key standards including PED, ASME, CRN, UL, and ETL, ensuring all products and materials meet international requirements.
• Quality Management Systems: Maintain and update procedures, workflows, and process maps under ISO 9001, while leading quarterly internal audits.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Coordinate the certification process for new products and accessories, maintaining constant communication with suppliers and managing purchase requisitions/orders.
• Financial Tracking & KPIs: Drive cost-saving projects, negotiate certification costs with vendors/agencies, and develop the department's budget and monthly KPI reports.
• Internal Advocacy: Serve as the internal champion for compliance, spreading awareness and updates regarding certifications across the organization (Güntner).

What are we looking for?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related fields). A specialization or strong focus on Thermal Engineering is highly desirable.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or Quality Engineer (preferably within the HVAC, heat exchanger, or heavy manufacturing industries).
• Languages: Advanced English is a must (essential for interpreting international codes and communicating with global compliance bodies/suppliers).
