LIXIL in Mexico seeks a Plant Manager to lead all facets of manufacturing operations at the site, including safety, quality, delivery and productivity. You will align production plans with corporate goals, manage materials, energy use, and CAPEX/OPEX, and drive continuous improvement with Kaizen and TPS ideas.

This role requires strong leadership of Production, Maintenance, Quality, Process Engineering, and EHS teams, and the ability to adapt headquarters' guidelines to local culture while

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Ceramic, Materials, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 5 years experience but 8 years preferred in a senior plant management role within ceramic, concrete or glass industry (automotive or other manufacturing industry is fine).
• Fluent in English and Spanish (essential) for daily corporate reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, optimize, and oversee end-to-end operations of the manufacturing plant (toilets, urinals, and lavys).
• Bridge Japanese manufacturing philosophy (Monozukuri, Kaizen, Safety First) with local culture.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, and TPM to drive efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs: OEE, scrap rates, cycle times, and quality targets.
• Oversee cost control and CAPEX/OPEX management.
