Job summary

Joinimagine is seeking a procurement professional to manage sub-categories and suppliers for Indirect IT categories, including enterprise and business apps, SaaS/IaaS, network infrastructure, hardware and IT professional services. You will develop and implement category strategies, run RFX processes, negotiate with suppliers on delivery, quality and cost, and maintain relationships with strategic vendors.

Willingness to travel up to 10% and collaboration with stakeholders to meet KPIs will be

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain Management, or Business.
• Approximately 5 years IT procurement experience.
• Indirect category management experience in IT/software procurement.
• Knowledge of software licensing, cloud architecture, IT labor SOWs, SaaS.
• Contract management with risk mitigation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of category strategy with the Category Lead.
• Conduct market analyses and RFXs aligned with stakeholder requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers on delivery, quality and price; manage supplier base to meet targets.
• Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers including NDA and long-term contracts.
• Monitor procurement KPIs and align with local requirements.
• Support regional and global indirect procurement initiatives.

Job description

Responsible for managing sub-categories and suppliers which entails conducting sourcing activities, running Rfx’s and managing suppliers for Indirect IT Categories (enterprise and business apps, SaaS/IaaS, network infrastructure, hardware and IT professional services)

We offer:

• Support the development and implementation of the category strategy and align the supplier portfolio together with the Category Lead.
• Conduct market analyses and Rfx’s in line with business requirements as identified with the stakeholder.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers in terms of delivery, quality and price. Manage and develop the supply base, to achieve our targets in delivery, quality, cost and innovation.
• Maintain and develop relationships with strategic suppliers including contract management (NDA's, Long Term- / Supply Contracts etc).
• Monitor and manage influences on performance and achievements on the Procurement’s KPIs, in line with local requirements and rules.
• Support in regional and global Indirect Procurement initiatives.

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree ideally in IT, Supply Chain Management, or Business;
• Preferred 5 years of experience at a minimum in IT Procurement.
• Indirect category management experience - strong understanding of IT and software business and procurement concepts, including software licensing, cloud architecture, IT labor SOWs, and software-as-a-service
• Contract management skills; including a working understanding of contractual terms and conditions and risk mitigation
• Knowledge and strong utilization of Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and management
• Must be willing to travel to suppliers and/or other Dematic locations as needed up to 10%.
