American International Group, Inc. (AIG) in Mexico City seeks a Casualty Head to lead underwriting and portfolio strategy for Casualty products.

You will analyze risk, oversee broker networks, and drive cross-sell initiatives across AIG divisions to maximize profitability. The role requires senior-level experience, strong analytics, and fluent English, with a preference for candidates with engineering, business, or legal backgrounds.

• 10+ years of experience in Casualty Underwriting.
• Fluent English is required.
• Engineering, Business, or legal graduation are preferable.
• Excellent analysis and interpersonal skills.
• Strong marketing and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Marketing, underwriting, and servicing of all Casualty products (General Liability, Construction Liability, Environmental and CPI).
• Building and maintaining strategic broker relationships.
• Renewal portfolio retention, rate change and exposure change monitoring.
• Develop new business opportunities as well as cross-sell opportunities for other AIG divisions.
• P&L and portfolio periodical analyses.
• Product development and ability to discuss with international product development leader.
• Team building and development.

The key responsibilities of this position are as follows:

What we are looking for:

• Candidate must have excellent analysis and interpersonal skills, as well as strong marketing and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong record in Casualty Underwriting (10+ years of experience).
• Fluent English is required.
• Engineering, Business, or legal graduation are preferable.
