Grow is seeking a Cash Application Specialist in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. This role involves managing cash receipts for various payment types, ensuring accurate processing of accounts receivable, and documenting all transactions effectively. Ideal candidates will have a background in Economy, International Business, or Accounting, along with strong English communication skills.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in a similar area.
• Familiarity with accounting practices is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage cash receipts for bank transfers, cheques, and intercompany netting.
• Ensure all processes are documented and understood.
• Monitor and clear all queries and requests in the team mailbox.
• Address Cash on Account and manage remittance advice.
• Review closing documents and ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in process and system testing.

The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for the maintenance of customer records and all accounts receivable business functions, procedures, and documentation to support and apply all payments accurately and promptly, across multiple entities and currencies.

What you will be doing:

• Manage cash receipts for bank transfers, cheques, and intercompany netting, using bank statements and customer remittances to match invoices.
• Ensure all processes are documented, including any specific variances at the remittance or receipt level, and understand the background to these variances for optimal standard processes.
• Monitor and clear all queries and requests in the team mailbox regularly.
• Address Cash on Account by managing remittance advice and communicating significant values on key customers lacking appropriate backup.
• Review all closing documents and ensure the accuracy of receivables data before closing. Perform AR closing activities.
• Highlight processes for improvement opportunities and participate in process and system testing, implementation of changes, and update documentation.
