Procurement Specialist Responsibilities

• Gather information and initiate vendor creation requests in the system, and follow up on their status.
• Update material and general information for Purchasing and Material Master data.
• Assist in maintaining accurate supplier data within financial systems (SAP, JDE).
• Transform Maintenance Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into Purchase Orders (POs).
• Maintain accurate PO data, including acknowledgements, pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Process POs according to storeroom requirements (MRP or other approved processes).
• Transform other indirect goods and services PRs into POs, reflecting business needs and negotiations.
• Act as the first point of contact for P2P inquiries, issues, and transactions related to indirect categories, including managing document changes, cancellations, and returns.

Work Experience and Education

• Minimum 3 years of experience executing P2P tasks in accordance with established processes and policies.
