Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine.
• Detailed knowledge or experience within the pharmaceutical industry and the area of medical liaisons.
• Cardiometabolic experience.
• Ability to handle data or requests in a timely manner and elevate when needed.
• Knowledge of legislation relevant to industry sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and scientific support to the sales team ensuring the Field Medical Liaison team provides a timely and cost efficient service.
• Potentially supervise clinical trials and/or patient safety activities regionally.
• Ensure that all work is aligned with AstraZeneca standards and industry regulations.
• Handle relationships with healthcare professionals, sales professionals and other partners to develop a better understanding of their information needs and respond accordingly.
• Represent the field medical liaisons team at external events.
• Provide statistical, medical and scientific consultancy to support key meetings with internal and external partners.
• Coordinate and deliver education workshops with the community locally and medical groups as required.
