Job summary

Collins is seeking a Test Equipment Coordinator in Mexicali, MX to coordinate calibration activities for measurement and test equipment, track status, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and standards.

The role involves supporting test station repair and troubleshooting, coordinating with internal teams and external service providers, and occasional travel to the United States for training or business needs.

Qualifications

• Technical or engineering degree, or current study in electronics, mechatronics, electrical or industrial engineering.
• Intermediate English (60%) for reading technical documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate calibration activities for MTE, including scheduling, follow-up, and status tracking.
• Maintain accurate records of test equipment, calibration status, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure calibration activities are completed on time.
• Support tracking and control of test equipment to ensure availability for production and testing.
• Review calibration documentation and follow up on overdue items or required actions.
• Support compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Assist Test Station Repair and Troubleshooting by coordinating equipment needs with technical teams.
• Occasionally travel to the U.S. as required for training or business needs.
