MSD Laboratory internship at MKS Instruments, Inc. offers hands-on experience partnering with laboratory and production teams to analyze physical and chemical quality of raw materials and finished goods. You will report to the QC Supervisor and contribute to continuous improvement in the lab.

This role supports testing, equipment calibration, and waste handling while upholding safety and quality standards in a dynamic semiconductor environment.

• Level of formal education in Chemistry, Science or related fields.
• No previous experience.
• Technical skill of laboratory work.

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Intern at MSD Laboratory, you will partner with laboratory and production team to analyze physical and chemical quality of raw materials and/or finish goods. In this role, you will report to the QC Supervisor.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Run physical and chemical test of raw materias and/or finish goods.
• Calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Keep 6´S standards.
• Improve processes in laboratory.
• Administrative support.
• Sample taking/disposal.

Skills You Bring:

• Level of formal education in Chemistry, Science or related fields.
• No previous experience.
• Technical skill of laboratory work.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Physical Demand 1: Wear personal protective equipment.
• Physical Demand 2: Sometimes is necessary load until 20Kg(according your gender and NOM standard) to dispose scrap/waste.
• Working Condition 1: Noise level in the work environment is usually above average.
• Working Condition 2: Working in laboratory environment.
