Formación

• 10+ years of experience in automotive development.
• Fluent in English with German A2 preferred.

Description

• Lead and coordinate complex projects with clients
• Develop and build parametric 3D data autonomously according to construction standards and propose new ways to increase construction efficiency with the level of quality required by other EDAG offices and our clients
• Develop concept sections according to construction guidelines
• Propose complex engineering solutions according to technology (plastics or sheet metal)
• Create 2D drawings and apply knowledge of: GD&T, manufacturing process, injection molding, SMC, thermoforming
• Train team members with less experience, coordinate and review their work
• Communicate clearly with the client, presenting problems, proposals, and possible solutions with associated advantages and risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry in development
• Knowledge in doors, console, and instrument panel for Interior Trim
• Advanced knowledge in DFMEA, DFA, DFM, GD&T, and materials
• Experience with plastic and metal parts
• International experience desirable
• Experience in the development phase from concept to tooling kick-off
• Fluent in English
• German A2 (desirable)
