Edag-Engineering-Gmbh is seeking an Intermediate CAD Designer in Puebla to lead client meetings and autonomously develop parametric 3D data for vehicle interiors. You will create 2D drawings with GD&T, select manufacturing processes for plastics and metal parts, and drive design concepts from concept through tooling kickoff.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive development, fluent English, and a strong knowledge of DFMEA/DFA/DFM/GD&T.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry (development).
• Experience designing for vehicle interiors (doors, console, IP).
• Advanced knowledge in DFMEA, DFA, DFM, GD&T.
• Experience with plastic and metal parts.
• International experience desirable.
• Experience in developing phase from concept to tooling kickoff.
• Fluent English; German A2 desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate technical meetings with clients.

• Develop concepts sections according to construction guidelines.
• Propose engineering solutions for plastics or sheet metal.

• Train team members with less experience, coordinating and reviewing their work.
• Communicate clearly with the client, presenting problems, proposals and risks with advantages and cautions.

DESCRIPTION

• Lead and coordinate technical meetings with clients.
• Develop and build parametric 3D data autonomously according to construction standards and propose new ways to increase construction efficiency with the level of quality required by other EDAG offices and our clients.
• Develop concepts sections according to construction guidelines.
• Propose engineering solutions according to technology (plastics or sheet metal).
• Creation of 2D drawings and apply knowledge of: GD&T, manufacturing process, injection molding, SMC, thermoforming.
• Train people on the team with less experience, coordinating and reviewing the work done by them.
• Communicate clearly with the client, presenting problems, proposals and possible solutions with associated advantages and risks .

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor´s degree in Automotive engineering, Mechatronic engineering, Mechanicalengineering or related.
• MUST have at least 5+ years of experience inside the automotive industry in development area.
• MUST have experience designing for vehicle interiors (doors, console and IP for Interior Trim)
• Advanced knowledge in DFMEA, DFA, DFM, GD&T Materials.
• Experience with plastic and metal parts.
• International Experience desirable.
• Experience in developing phase from: Concept until tooling kick off.
• Fluent English.
• German A2 (desirable).
