ROLE SUMMARY:

The Wingate School (TWS) is an accredited Cambridge International School and an IB World School in Mexico City that offers an educational programme focussed on academic excellence, creativity and human formation. TWS teaches the International Early Years Curriculum in Kindergarten, the International Primary Curriculum, and the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum. The school is a member of the Latin American Heads Conference, was awarded the Foundation Level of British Council’s International School Award and was recently named "One of the 10 best international schools in Latin America" by The Knowledge Review.

The Wingate School is seeking a qualified Buyer's Assistant to support the administrative team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in sourcing and comparing suppliers to obtain the best quality, price, and delivery terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with school and Inspired procurement policies.
• Maintain updated vendor files, price lists, and product information.
• Track and follow up on pending orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of stock items.
• Verify delivery notes and invoices, ensuring they match orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with health, safety, and quality standards.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Proven experience in an administrative or procurement support role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
