Hussmann is hiring a Buyer MRP in Tijuana, Mexico to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials. You will manage purchase orders, inventory levels, and MRP-driven requirements to support uninterrupted production.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Engineering, at least two years of procurement experience with MRP systems, and practical SAP ERP exposure. Strong Excel skills and surgical attention to inventory planning are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement using MRP systems.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Intermediate Excel skills and strong inventory control knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Execute material planning, inventory control, and warehouse activities to ensure supply levels.
• Plan material requirements through an MRP system and generate purchase orders.
• Follow up on purchase orders for delivery dates and quantities.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for receipt of raw materials.
• Reschedule or cancel purchase orders as needed to meet targets.
• Monitor inventory and implement actions to meet monthly goals.
• Support activities to mitigate production shutdowns.
• Participate in audits and procurement-related document reviews.

We are looking for a Buyer MRP that ensures timely and cost-effective procurement of materials by managing purchase orders, inventory levels, and MRP-driven requirements to support uninterrupted production operations.

What Will You Do?

• Execute material planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse activities to ensure correct supply levels for operations.
• Manage purchase orders by planning material requirements through an MRP system, executing suggested action plans.
• Generate purchase orders following ERP/MRP recommendations.
• Follow up on purchase orders: delivery confirmations, dates, and quantities.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure proper receipt of raw materials.
• Reschedule and cancel purchase orders as required.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement actions to meet monthly targets.
• Support activities to mitigate production shutdowns.
• Support excess and slow-moving inventory reduction initiatives.
• Participate in internal audits and procurement-related document reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement using MRP systems.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Intermediate Excel skills.
