Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer Direct located in Guadalajara North Campus.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct, the Buyer Direct is responsible for identifying varied sources of commodities and services, evaluating bids, awarding contracts and purchase orders, developing standards for new products or services, maintaining contact with vendors, and maintaining comprehensive descriptions of available products and current prices.

What a typical day looks like:

• Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and lead time.
• Manages suppliers to meet price, delivery, and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate.
• Monitors and strategizes material management throughout the product life cycle, considering price, MOQ, etc.
• Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price.
• Prepares and/or reviews bid requests and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
