Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Order Management & System Accuracy

  • Generate and handle purchase orders using the Min/Max report; reschedule as needed to ensure timely supply.
  • Build purchase orders in accordance with established procedures and confirm with suppliers to verify receipt and delivery dates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the system (Oracle), including supplier data, item-supplier relationships, pricing, lead times, transit times, shipping routes, and sourcing rules.
  • Expedite materials based on urgency, delivery dates, and client needs to ensure availability at required manufacturing sites.
  • Monitor and address expired open purchase orders, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Supplier Relationship Management

Foster effective and professional communication with suppliers to meet material and delivery requirements.

Support global supply chain initiatives, including price negotiations and supplier performance improvements.

Implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive supplier performance and collaboration.

Coordinate the return of goods to suppliers as necessary.

Participate in procurement-related projects and initiatives.

Assist in resolving supplier performance issues and ensure follow-up on corrective actions.

Inventory Management

Review and recommend updates to Min/Max inventory settings for RRC sites.

Support RRC sites with inventory accuracy initiatives, including cycle counts.

Additional Responsibilities

Perform other related duties as assigned in support of the team and interpersonal goals.

For This Role, You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Purchasing or Planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Previous experience in a global or multicultural organization is highly valued. Familiarity with supply chain methodologies such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and JIT (Just-in-Time) systems.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English (written, verbal, and listening). Ability to collaborate across teams and interact effectively with global stakeholders. Proactive, thorough, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

  • Oracle or ERP system experience (preferable)
  • Knowledge of International Trade (preferable)
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools
  • APICS certification (desirable)
