An anonymous company located in Ramos Arizpe is seeking a Buyer to manage sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in procurement, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office is preferred. This role involves collaboration with various internal departments to support operational goals.

Overview

Job Summary: The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, or services from suppliers. The role involves evaluating supplier performance, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. The Buyer works closely with internal departments to support operational goals and maintain an efficient supply chain.

Responsibilities
  • Source and purchase materials, products, or services in accordance with company requirements.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers on pricing, terms, and delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve any supply issues or delays.
  • Track market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to meet project and business goals.
  • Analyze supplier performance and prepare reports on cost, delivery, and quality.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PLEX).
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain procedures and vendor management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
