Overview

Center of Excellence Inventory Optimization

This is a pivotal role within the Engineered Materials supply chain Process, System & Governance team. This role requires strong subject matter expertise in the Inventory planning process & Multi-Echelon IO Model, understanding of the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process, hands-on experience working with SAP IBP Inventory Optimization solutions (tech savviness), along with strong analytical and communication skills. A fundamental understanding of supply chain and business acumen is also essential.

Key Responsibilities of BPE Inventory Planning:

• Owns process blueprint development from conception to operationalization, including the technology platform (SAP IBP Inventory Optimization).
• Establishes and drives the IBP Inventory optimization solution within the organization.
• Integrates Inventory planning inputs (SAP S4, IBP DP) and outputs (ESP Blue Yonder and SAP S4), coordinating with Demand & Supply BPE teams.
• Ensures key enablers are fit-for-purpose for end users of the IBP Inventory optimization solution.
• Evaluates and vets business requests against process and system integrity.
• Maintains business activities such as team check-ins, liaison with IT and vendors.
• Leads enterprise and process improvement projects in the functional domain.
• Provides functional input for documentation and training materials.
• Manages continuous improvements for relevant software solutions and platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related disciplines (e.g., Industrial Engineering).
• APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP) is highly desirable.
• 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain or Sales & Operations Planning, with a focus on Inventory planning.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IBP Inventory Optimization Multi-echelon model, including understanding inputs, outputs, and drivers impacting safety stock.
