A leading automotive manufacturer in San Luis Potosí is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team and ensure the effective maintenance of plant equipment. Responsibilities include leading a team of maintenance leaders, conducting evaluations, and implementing safety practices. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and extensive automotive industry experience, with skills in problem resolution and collaboration. This is a full-time on-site position.

Description

In this role, you will oversee a small to medium group of salaried maintenance Group Leaders. Leads the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems. You will conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicates evaluation of results. Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions, Recommends solutions to problems, and meets schedule and quality requirements in addition to the following responsibilities. - Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements - Implements divisional and corporate policies - Implements safety and good housekeeping practices - Frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group - Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment - Participates in the selection of new employees - Trains, develops and evaluates employees - Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project - Leads technical guidance for complex and unusual plant operations or projects - Assists in the development of budgets and forecasts within assigned area - Obtains a deep knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles

Additional DescriptionOn Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Willingness and availability to work a 4x3 shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays. Extensive experience in the automotive industry, specifically with paint processes. Ability to resolve technical issues related to machinery and tools. Preferable: Experience with AB PLC automation and FANUC Robots, DNet & ENet Protocols, SIEMENS HMI. Demonstrated skills in effective decision-making and root cause analysis. Experience in developing and implementing innovation projects. Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Process.
