Key Responsibilities:
• Forecast Analysis: Actively support the Business Planning Process by gathering and analyzing forecasts from sources such as the Micron’s internal marketing forecast and business plans, industry and internal forecast reports such as customer TAM s to identify trends. Compare these trends and develop actionable recommendations for internal purposes when discrepancies arise.
• Business Reporting: Serve as a key, nimble internal resource to generate unique views and insights as scenarios arise or business needs change. Aid in leading changes to internal reporting systems as needed.
• Market Intelligence Collaboration: Work with Micron Business Development and Market Intelligence to validate market models with individual customer internal forecasts and identify any gaps. Be a key participant in rationalizing any market news to potential market impacts for internal analysis. Monitor publicly available customer earnings report data points and align them with our models and sales plans.
• Support the Marketing Sales Forecast Reconciliation Process (MSR): Collaborate with internal marketing partners and prepare Marketing forecast input files to support the MSR forecasting process each cycle. Highlight and review key changes in the demand forecast and assumptions pointing out any forecast inconsistencies with models when trends differ. Generate internal reporting each cycle with standardized views including cycle over cycle changes and outstanding views for special topics. Work closely with Micron Business Management, Business Development and other internal business partners to generate statistical forecasts and drive continuous improvement in forecast modeling capabilities.
• Sample Revenue Tracking: Assist in analyzing and tracking Sample Revenue projections for weekly internal updates.
• Review and Update Marketing Guides: Serve as the key resource to update Micron’s internal database One Micron, regularly review and maintain the internal CMBU part catalog for Micron.com part management working with cross Micron BU collaborators as needed. Update and manage the MPN default market segment though a product’s lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience: Demonstrated ability in market analysis, business reporting, or a related field.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as: Business, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.

Desired qualifications and Skills:
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data organization and analytics tools.
• Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams.
• Attributes: Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to see the big picture. Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and working under deadline constraints.
