British Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Developer in Monterrey.

The role involves leading and delivering Data, Analytics, and Visualization projects as assigned by the Team Manager. The ideal candidate will be an expert in BI/Visualization solutions, combining technical expertise with business strategy to enhance decision-making and create value.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Supporting 1 to 3 new development projects simultaneously.
• Delivering end-to-end Data & Analytics solutions as per specifications under supervision.
• Having operational understanding of BI concepts and working knowledge of MicroStrategy.
• Developing analytical approaches to answer business questions and support report creation.
• Demonstrating data and analytics capabilities to identify growth opportunities and enable timely decisions.
• Managing, transforming, and connecting various data sources to extract insights.
• Querying and managing large datasets using SQL and Python, optimizing query performance.
• Following processes to deliver outcomes efficiently within SLAs, with a mindset of continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

• Graduates in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Maths, Analytics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Dashboarding/Data Visualization, including at least 1 year in MicroStrategy or Tableau.
• Proficiency in visualization tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, SSRS, OBIEE, QlikView, and UI/UX tools.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and solve problems in an entrepreneurial, agile environment.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience with various BI architectures, including cloud solutions.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on programming experience in SQL and Python.
