Job Overview

Amazon Marketplace is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to acquire and manage strategic key accounts. The role develops a sales pipeline of high‑value and transactional merchants, recruits small to medium and established businesses, and grows their portfolio to increase sales exponentially on Amazon.

Core Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and acquire high‑potential sellers and build long‑term relationships with key influencers and decision‑makers.
  • Manage a concurrent pipeline of merchants to consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics.
  • Partner with merchants to provide data‑driven insights, training, and growth strategies to optimize performance and drive success on Amazon.
  • Track business development results, analyze customer data, and recommend actions to maximize category potential.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to assess progress, health, and strategy execution for the assigned categories.
  • Present compelling value propositions around Amazon’s Selling on Amazon product set and achieve successful cross‑sell opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of B2B sales, account management, or business development experience with a proven track record of meeting revenue targets.
  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, and cold‑calling skills with experience in pipeline management using Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA, data analysis).
  • Experience in procurement, negotiation, sales consulting, supply chain, or marketing is a plus.
