Summary

As a BDA, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by supporting our executives at Platzi and prospecting and identifying new clients or markets. Your role includes scheduling meetings between prospects and sales executives, managing and expanding your database, effectively following up on leads, ensuring meeting commitments, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve ambitious targets. You will also participate in pitch sessions, product demonstrations, and training. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to exceed qualified opportunity goals and increase the conversion rate of generated or assigned leads.

Description
  • Identify new prospects and assess fit against ideal customer profiles.
  • Conduct initial outreach to prospects via email, phone, and LinkedIn to understand their needs, budget, and timing.
  • Initiate calls to introduce our value proposition, engage decision-makers, and secure qualified meetings.
  • Conduct outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to uncover needs, budget, and timing.
  • Keep lead records pristine—create/update contacts, apply correct statuses and tags, and log every interaction.
  • Track lead activity and stage progression to trigger timely next-step actions.
  • Own post-meeting tasks in HubSpot—assign next steps, send personalized follow-ups, and schedule demos within 24 hours.
  • Attend C-level meetings with senior reps, take structured notes, and capture key buying signals.
  • Transform meeting highlights into follow-up tasks in HubSpot within one business day.
  • 2+years of experience in demand generation (SDR/BDR) or revenue operations roles.
  • Proven track record handling C‑level meetings and documenting critical information in a CRM (HubSpot preferred).
  • Knowledge of prospecting tools (Apollo, Salesloft, LinkedIn SalesNavigator).
  • Outstanding writing and summarization skills: you turn complex conversations into actionable notes.
  • Solid grasp of pipeline metrics and analytic mindset to optimize processes.
  • English level B2 or higher.
  • High autonomy, sense of urgency and startup mindset.
