The Business Development Sr Manager achieves results through managing professional teams and departments. They integrate industry expertise within a specific area and contribute to establishing operational standards. This role requires an in-depth understanding of how various areas integrate within the sub-function and align with overall organizational objectives. Basic commercial awareness is necessary. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are essential to guide, influence, and persuade colleagues and external customers. The role has responsibility for the volume, quality, timeliness, and delivery of results within the area. It may also include responsibilities for planning, budgeting, and policy development within the expertise area, along with short-term resource planning. The manager has full responsibility for a team, which may include managing personnel, budgets, and planning, as well as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations, potentially including budget approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technology, delivery, and marketing teams in an agile environment to launch new mobile products.
  • Support the development of mobile strategies by working with Technology, Digital Banking, Marketing, and Finance teams.
  • Lead project management efforts for designing, developing, and deploying mobile and online banking solutions.
  • Analyze technology trends, competitive landscape, customer device usage, and analytical trends to improve customer needs fulfillment and boost digital adoption and satisfaction.
  • Manage a business development team.
  • Assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, safeguarding the firm's reputation, and maintaining ethical standards. Oversee control issues transparently and hold team members accountable.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in engineering or technology; a Master’s degree with emphasis on Strategy, Technology, or Processes is preferred.
  • Effective collaboration with leaders, peers, and external entities; excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of mobile technology, including Android and iOS operating systems and APIs; Project Management Certification.
  • High energy, positive attitude, results-driven, and highly motivated self-starter. Comfortable working independently in ambiguous environments to achieve goals.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
