Overview

This is a leadership role with the responsibility of program management of strategic and cross-functional initiatives and influencing the company prioritization to improve customer experience. We expect this role to closely work with leaders across the company on complex initiatives that require coordination and collaboration across multiple functions. We also expect this role to work closely with the product management teams to improve the customer experience through data and customer insights.

Responsibilities
  • Continuously evaluate the state of the business to identify product, program and organization optimization opportunities
    • Consistently review and evaluate the business, by connecting with teams, to identify any optimization opportunities and/or risk and related mitigation options.
  • Prioritize and budget strategic initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic programs
    • Define the problem statement, scope and timeline
    • Define the definition of success
    • Define the operating model to shape how teams progress toward the shared objective
    • Managing interdependencies between teams
    • Ensuring resource capacity and availability
    • Delivering company level strategic initiatives timely in high quality
  • Identify and mitigate the executional risk
    • Be aware of anything, both internally and externally, that could impact the progress or outcome of the program and related projects
    • Be able to work with other teams to define and execute the mitigation plan
  • Engage with stakeholders
    • Connect with stakeholders on regular basis, to get a sense of the wider context that surrounds goals, and to give timely loop back to ensure all related areas stay in sync
  • Product Experience
    • Analyze customer data, product data and app usage data across the organization, and highlight new insights for the leadership and product teams for better informed prioritization
    • Act as the glue, equipped with data and insights, among Product, Marketing Ops, and Finance. This helps teams form better horizontal strategies or decisions.
Required qualifications
  • Total of 5+ years of experience
  • 3+ years of consulting experience with a top-tier strategy consulting firm, or experience in a respected operating company’s strategy function
  • BCG, McKinsey, Bain, AT Kearney, Booz Allen (called Strategy &)
  • Has done both strategy consulting and implementation
  • Has led company level complex program from intent to execution, through multi-functional teams who do not under the direct management, ideally in the financial service industry covering consumer financial products
  • 2+ years of experience in customer experience roles
