About the role

As our business evolves, we are seeking a Business Analyst to help drive and develop the performance and strategy of Lalamove in Mexico. The Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather, analyze, and interpret data to improve business performance and support strategic projects. This dynamic role combines problem-solving, data-driven thinking, and business acumen to ensure rapid and sustainable growth of the business.

We are looking for someone with experience in consulting, project management, finance, or similar fields who is eager to enter the fast-paced world of technology and logistics. This role involves strategic thinking, problem-solving, and execution.

What you will do

• Help define and manage key projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis and modeling to identify trends and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop analytical insights and tools to set and monitor performance goals.
• Work closely with our Managing Director to build the long-term strategy for Mexico.
• Collect and analyze performance data from sales, marketing, operations, etc., to drive alignment and achieve business goals.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective management of strategies and initiatives.
• Conduct market research, analyze business data, and share knowledge on market and technology trends; identify best practices and challenges across business units.
• Monitor and report on strategic initiatives, adjusting plans as needed based on changing conditions.

To be part of our team, you’ll need

• A degree in statistics, data analysis, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 3-4 years of experience in data analysis, business strategy, management consulting, finance, or project management.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R, BI tools).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to prioritize, work autonomously, and manage time effectively.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.

$50,000 - $65,000 a month
