Role Overview

The Business Analyst Manager oversees the connection between IS/IT and business Consumers and Customers. As part of the Product Group Team, this role manages a team of Business Analysts to ensure a deep understanding of business opportunities and issues, advising on optimal solutions. The manager translates business strategies, opportunities, threats, and needs into IS/IT product requirements, playing a key role in specifying, testing, and deploying these solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribution to IS/IT Strategy: Supports the development of strategy through incremental product improvements.
  2. Operational Effectiveness and Efficiency: Ensures proper analysis, documentation, testing, and training related to program development and deployment. Supports issue resolution and facilitates business scenarios and change management to maximize product adoption and value. Defines the minimum viable product (MVP) in collaboration with the Product Manager. Assesses near-term needs through structured interviews and consumer research.
  3. Virtual Team Coaching: Coaches and motivates staff across organizations to understand business needs and find aligned solutions.
  4. Security, Compliance & Risk Management: Identifies security and compliance requirements, ensuring they are considered in solution design.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Partners with business and IS/IT teams to elicit, analyze, and document requirements. Facilitates strategy and innovation planning, proposing solutions, and assessing risks, costs, and impacts.
  6. Leadership: Develops high-performing teams by creating alignment, recruiting, coaching, developing, and recognizing team members according to best practices and organizational values.

Required Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant business analysis experience in a related functional area.
  • At least 9 years of experience developing IT HR solutions through SuccessFactors.
  • Knowledge of SAP HR Modules (Payroll, Time Management, Talent, etc.).
  • Extensive project management experience.
  • Beneficial: strong business experience in relevant functions.
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments using design thinking methodology.
  • Effective communication skills across organizational levels in English.
  • Experience working in a global environment with virtual teams.
