POSITION SUMMARY

A business analyst is responsible for analyzing an organization's business processes and systems to identify areas where improvements can be made, bridging the gap between business processes and technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gathering and analyzing data on various aspects of the organization's operations such as sales, marketing, customer service and product development.
  • Identifying areas for improvement, such as streamlining processes, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
  • Developing and implementing solutions that address identified improvement areas.
  • Managing projects related to solution implementation, including creating project plans, managing resources and monitoring progress.
  • Providing ongoing support and training to ensure solutions remain effective and sustainable.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Analytical skills: collect, analyze and interpret data, identify patterns and inform decision‑making.
  • Business knowledge: understanding of the industry, products, services and best business practices.
  • Technical knowledge: familiarity with technologies and software used within the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with executives, managers, developers and end users.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field is preferred; a Master's (MBA) is desirable.

Relevant experience in business analysis, project management or a related field is required.
