Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to upkeep and repair building systems and equipment across our facilities. The role includes preventive maintenance, inspections, and quick responses to maintenance requests to keep operations running efficiently.

Candidates should have 2–3 years in maintenance, knowledge of HVAC/electrical/plumbing, and experience with warehouse equipment like forklifts and conveyors. Intermediate English is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in building maintenance preferred.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in building maintenance, ideally in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Intermediate English is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and lighting.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure safety and compliance with codes.
• Repair and maintain warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks).

The Building Maintenance will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of building systems, structures, and equipment. This includes conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting, and responding to maintenance requests to ensure that all operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment and machinery. Ensure all equipment is running at optimal levels to support the logistics operations.


• Facility Inspections & Safety: Conduct regular inspections of the building and surrounding areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance issues. Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and building codes. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas, workspaces, and storage facilities.


• Equipment & Machinery Support: Repair and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and pallet jacks as needed. Assist with setup, testing, and installation of new equipment or machinery.


• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests (e.g., water leaks, electrical issues, HVAC failures) promptly to minimize operational disruptions.

• Intermediate English is a must


• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in building maintenance or a related field preferred.


• Proven experience (2-3 years) in building maintenance, ideally in a warehouse or logistics environment.


• Knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.


• Familiarity with operating and maintaining warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor systems).


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.


• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations (OSHA, building codes).
