DELTA ImmoTec México is seeking a Building Automation & Controls Engineer to design and coordinate BMS/BAS solutions for advanced industrial and commercial facilities. The role focuses on building automation and facility infrastructure rather than manufacturing process automation.

The successful candidate will develop system architectures, define control philosophies, and prepare technical documentation for HVAC, utilities, and low‑voltage systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years in Building Automation, Controls or related fields.
  • Familiarity with BMS/BAS systems and communication protocols like BACnet or Modbus.
  • Experience with HVAC, electrical infrastructure, and building facilities is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop BMS/BAS concepts, architectures, and control philosophies.

JoinDELTA ImmoTec México and contribute your expertise in electrical, mechanical, or special systems design to high-impact industrial and commercial projects - both in Mexico and internationally.

As aBuilding Automation & Controls Engineer, you will support the engineering, design, and coordination of Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), controls, instrumentation, and related low-voltage systems across all project phases.

You will work closely with customers, mechanical and electrical engineers, equipment suppliers, contractors, and project teams to develop practical and reliable solutions for complex industrial facilities.

This position focuses on building automation and facility infrastructure projects rather than manufacturing process automation.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop BMS/BAS concepts, system architectures, and control philosophies.
  • Define monitoring and control requirements for HVAC, utilities, energy systems, and other technical building infrastructure.
  • Prepare engineering documentation including control diagrams, I/O lists, technical specifications, and system descriptions.
  • Coordinate the integration of mechanical, electrical, and special systems into the overall building automation architecture.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and system integration activities.
Special Systems & Low-Voltage Infrastructure
  • Support the engineering and coordination of CCTV, access control, communication, and network systems.
  • Define system interfaces and communication requirements.
  • Coordinate technical requirements with customers, suppliers, contractors, and system integrators.
  • Support the development of practical and reliable system concepts.
Project Coordination
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout all project phases.
  • Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and technical workshops.
  • Review technical documentation, vendor submissions, and engineering deliverables.
  • Track technical interfaces, open points, and project actions.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Share lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help improve engineering processes, documentation, and project execution.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Building Automation, Controls Engineering, Instrumentation, Low-Voltage Systems, or similar technical fields.
  • Understanding of BMS/BAS systems, control concepts, and communication protocols such as BACnet or Modbus.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, utilities, electrical infrastructure, or technical building systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with industrial facilities, commercial buildings, or data center projects is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM environments, or similar engineering tools is beneficial.
  • Native Spanish and preferably professional working proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
