The BU Purchasing Project Professional is responsible for all purchasing activities related to the program (excluding CAPEX). They oversee the quality, cost, and timing of suppliers sourced for their project. They collaborate with the lead buyer on sourcing activities. The role includes managing the purchasing budget (hours and money) allocated for the project. The professional manages closed purchase orders and monitors the payment schedule. They handle non-event launch activities related to suppliers. Key responsibilities also include managing gaps to target, PPAP on time, Tier 2 readiness, project hours management (status & forecast), contribution to cash in/cash out, and work package optimization.
