We are proud to have the support of the best investors in the game who believe in our mission, solutions and people. Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us.

The opportunity:

As the company scales its operations in Mexico, the GDL office has grown into both a regional operations hub and a critical talent base for our LATAM and cross-border functions - and it's still early. As Branch Manager, you won't just run the office as it exists today; you'll help build what it becomes. You'll own execution across ocean, air, trucking, and customs brokerage, while also serving as the office's overall local leader, shaping how the team grows, how work gets done, and how the site scales as headcount and volume increase.

This is also a role for someone who wants to bring automation and AI-driven tooling into Mexican logistics operations, not just manage the status quo. the company is investing heavily in automating manual ops workflows across LATAM, and you'll be the person on the ground translating that into real operational leverage for the GDL team - reducing manual work, speeding up execution, and freeing the team to focus on the highest-value problems.

You know the carriers, the airlines, the trucking companies, and the brokers, and you have the relationships to prove it. Beyond operations, you'll be the person who makes the GDL office run - from day-to-day site leadership to the administrative work that keeps a growing team functioning smoothly.

You will:
  • Own Multimodal Operations: Lead execution across ocean, air, trucking, and customs brokerage for the GDL office, ensuring service levels, compliance, and efficiency across all modes.
  • Leverage Local Market Relationships: Maintain and grow relationships with the biggest players in the Mexican logistics landscape - ocean carriers, airlines, trucking companies, and customs brokers - to unlock better rates, capacity, and service reliability.
  • Drive Customer Success: Ensure outstanding customer experience by maintaining service quality, resolving issues, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Serve as the Local Site Leader: Act as the face of the company in Guadalajara, representing the company with vendors, landlords, and partners, and serving as the go-to leader for the office as a whole.
  • Build and Scale the Office: Help shape the GDL office's growth - from team structure to ways of working - as headcount and volume increase.
  • Champion Automation & AI: Identify manual, repetitive work across Mexico operations and drive adoption of automation and AI-powered tooling to eliminate it, working closely with the company's global automation initiatives.
  • Manage Office Administration: Own the administrative tasks required to run the office day-to-day, from vendor coordination to office logistics.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Identify and resolve bottlenecks across modes, working cross-functionally with global ops teams to maintain consistent service quality.
You should have:
  • Leadership Experience: 7+ years in a leadership role within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Operational Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience managing multimodal freight operations in Mexico - ocean, air, trucking, and customs brokerage - with a clear understanding of how each mode works end-to-end.
  • Market Relationships: Existing relationships with major ocean carriers, airlines, trucking companies, and customs brokerage firms operating in Mexico.
  • Automation Mindset: You default to asking how to automate before building a manual process, and you're excited about using AI-driven tools to improve how operations run.
  • Leadership Presence: Ability to act as a credible local leader - representing the company with external partners and serving as an anchor for the office internally.
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
